New Year Message for 2024 | Go forward with a Clear Goal

At the beginning of a new year, we are once again standing at a new starting point. On the occasion of the arrival of the New Year, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the company, I would like to extend my New Year's wishes and sincere greetings to all leaders at all levels who care about and support the development of the company, friends from all walks of life, customers, value chain partners, all staff and their families, retired comrades!

2023 is the first year to fully implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, the key year to carry out the "14th Five-Year Plan", and the 55th anniversary of the founding of Shaanxi Automobile. In the past year, all Shaanxi Automobile people kept pace with the times, focused on the "2035 Strategy" and the goals of the "14th Five-Year Plan", wrote a new chapter of high-quality development with hard work and sweat.

Our beliefs are more firm now，as we have fully implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's visits to Shaanxi on many occasions and his important instructions on inspecting Shaanxi Heavy-duty Automobile Group Co., Ltd., and earnestly studied and implemented the theme education of studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. We released the "123456 Concept" and the eight requirements for cadres, and won the first prize in the excellent case of building a strong enterprise through party building and the first prize in the innovation achievement case of building a brand of party building. We took concrete actions to wholeheartedly support the "two establishments" and resolutely implement the "two Upholds".

We worked together to develop the company, and our progress was even more vigorous. We sold 160,000 vehicles in 2023, an increase of 47% year-on-year, and achieved output value of RMB 73.2 billion, an increase of 30% year-on-year. We ranked among the top tier of China's heavy truck industry. We sold 57,000 vehicles on the international market, an increase of 67% year-on-year, ranking second in the industry and setting a new record high. We have formed a good situation of coordinated development in both domestic and international markets.

We are committed to innovation-driven development, and we dare to be the first to open up a new situation. Focusing on self-reliance in science and technology, focusing on industrial innovation and transformation, and focusing on digital integration and innovation, we carried out 48 core technology breakthroughs, autonomous driving products were put into normal operation, and the country's first magnesium alloy lightweight trailer was released; hydrogen fuel heavy trucks were delivered in Shanghai Lingang in large quantities; the sales of new energy vehicles increased by 153% year-on-year; the industry's first head-hanging "three good development center" is progressing in an orderly manner, and the company's brand influence is continuously improving. Proton car completed A round of financing with a valuation of 450 million yuan. The group has won honors such as Shaanxi Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Enterprise and National Green Factory.

We bear in mind that the country is big, and the overall situation of service is effective. We always regard serving the overall situation as our mission value, focus on regional coordinated development, "Central Asia Summit," "Three Years" activities, etc., play the role of "chain master" in view of the shortcomings of the industrial chain and supply chain, and accelerate cooperation with industry chain partners. It has actively participated in the Belt and Road Initiative and has sold more than 250 thousand vehicles in the countries along the Belt and Road. Give full play to the leading role of the whole vehicle, promote the coordinated development of the upstream and downstream industrial chain in Shaanxi Province with the increase of sales volume, and go all out to improve quality and increase efficiency and steady growth.

In 2024, it will be the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and it will be a key year to achieve the goals and tasks of the "14th Five-Year Plan". It is of great significance to do a good job in the whole year. We must further strengthen Party leadership, deepen reform and innovation, promote high-quality development, and make new achievements in promoting Chinese-style modernization.

We will remember the "four new" important instructions, practice the new development concept in action, integrate the enterprise's development into the overall situation of the party and the country's development, take the "five integration" as the starting point, and inject new practical connotations into the development of Shaanxi Automobile.

In 2024, we will firmly develop our confidence, adhere to the customer-centered and goal-oriented approach, take the initiative to integrate into regional coordinated development strategies and major regional strategies, combine adjusting structure with stabilizing existing assets and expanding new assets, strengthen change, seize opportunities and seek advancement, and continuously create a vivid situation of seeking development wholeheartedly and maintaining stable growth.
